Delete your account and data

Delete in the app

Open Profile → Settings → Account → Delete my account. Review the summary, choose what happens to animals where you are the last owner, and type DELETE before confirming. You can cancel before the final confirmation.

Request deletion without the app

Email hi@pawlilo.app with the subject “Delete Pawlilo account”. Use the email associated with your account and say whether you want to delete the whole account or specific information. Do not send passwords or one-time codes. We confirm your identity and the consequences for shared animals before completing deletion.

What is deleted?

Your account, posts, comments, walks and media are removed, including content you shared. Animals with another owner stay with that owner. If you are the last owner, choose to delete the animal’s profile or keep a memorial profile. Your own media is deleted either way. Copies saved outside Pawlilo cannot be retrieved.

Export and subscriptions

Export from Account before deletion if you want a copy of your information. Manage any Pro subscription in App Store or Google Play too; deleting your account does not cancel it in the store. See Privacy for retention and your rights.

Photos, files and Apple sign-in

Your account closes when deletion completes. Removing media files and revoking Apple access are separate tasks and can take longer. If an older Apple connection has no required access token, the app shows how to remove Pawlilo’s access with Apple. You can still delete your Pawlilo account.

The copy you download

The in-app export is a JSON file containing information and media references, not an archive of the photos and videos themselves. Private media links require an active account. Save files you want before deletion or contact hi@pawlilo.app if you need help with a complete copy.
